I am a computer scientist specialising in data visualisation, and I am the lead developer of the Xi Network Viewer. My previous work focussed on GeoVisualisation, this being the intersection of Geographic Information Systems and Information Visualisation. This is still relevant to my current role – the network viewer is a topological map of cross-link data.
I completed my PhD in 2008, the subject of which was an analysis and visualisation of town planning data. My supervisor was Prof. Jon Kerridge and the PhD was conducted in Jessie Kennedy’s research group in the School of Computing, Edinburgh Napier University.
I joined the Rappsilber Laboratory in 2011.
